* What is the Multiverse? Real Science Radio co-host Fred Williams passes along a question from a listener to Bob Enyart, "What's the Multiverse?" Bob answers, "The multiverse is a yardstick used to measure the strength of the fine tuning argument for God." But then, "Why do so many atheists support the multiverse?" Answer: "The degree of acceptance of the multiverse measures the desperation of atheists."

* Another Transient Event: Oxygen on Comet 67P: Bob and Fred also report on all the oxygen outgassing from comet 67P, to the dismay of atheists. Prof. Kathrin Altwegg is the project leader for the instrument which which measured the comet releasing oxygen over the course of seven months, the ROSINA mass spectrometer. It is because of well-known basic chemistry that Dr. Altwegg had to awkwardly admit, “We had never thought that oxygen could 'survive' for billions of years without combining with other substances." Yet even though oxygen is highly reactive, there it is, allegedly after billions of years, constituting much of the comet’s atmosphere along with water vapor, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Of course though plentiful oxygen in comets is consistent with a young earth and an accurate understanding of origins, including as we reported at rsr.org/origin-of-coments. * NASA's Bait-and-Switch on Water and Life: Today's program includes a brief audio clip from RSR's upcoming Evidence Against the Big Bang video. This audio documents NASA's typical bait-and-switch when they state the obvious, and something that everyone knows, that: Water is NEEDED TO MAINTAIN life. Then they switch that out for a claim that runs contrary to everything known about chemistry, when by a slight-of-hand they claim that water would be a BENEFIT to the ORIGIN OF LIFE from matter. In reality, water is the universal solvent, and would relentlessly dissolve amino acids, any polymers, etc.

If you search for those terms, you'll find that Google has ranked us #1 out of millions of other related pages for kgov.com/time and kgov.com/bbp. This, of course, doesn't mean that we're correct and that Dr. Turek is incorrect. But what a #1 ranking typically indicates is that such a page is the best available presentation of that topic from its perspective. And if that is true in these cases, and if Dr. Turek has not defended his support for timelessness and the big bang in light of our arguments, that means that Dr. Turek has not yet defended his views against the best available counter arguments. For example: 

* By the Way, Our Two James White YouTube Videos: are at 5,000 and 30,000 views. This first 2-minute video of excerpts presents The Shocking White/Enyart Debate Aftermath. In the aftermath, and for the reason explained just below, R.C. Sproul Jr. and Dr. James White both startlingly deny that God the Son took upon Himself a human nature.
- Sproul: "God the Son does not now nor has He ever had two natures."
- White: "God the Son does not have two natures. I did not 'admit' that He did/does/will etc."
These men are currently denying this central doctrine of Christianity (hopefully only temporarily, and hopefully, they will simply retract their shocking comments) because they are trying to defend the claim from Plato that God is utterly timeless (thus without sequence) and that He is utterly immutable (incapable of any change whatsoever). Please pray for these men who clearly love the Lord but who are subordinating the biblical Incarnate Son of God to an extreme Platonic utter immutability. See also:

To summarize James White's heretical position, while he very readily admits that Jesus has a divine and a human nature, he refuses to acknowledge the same of God the Son, that He has a divine and a human nature. God the Son and Jesus Christ are the same Person. White's refusal to acknowledge that God the Son has a human nature is a form of the Nestorian heresy, which even Sproul's own father has warned Christians about. It is almost as though, to defend the unbiblical teachings of utter immutability and atemporality, these men feel themselves pushed into a direction of broaching the horrifically false idea of Jesus as a fourth person of the Trinity. As made manifestly evident by Scripture, by Liberty University's Dr. Richard Holland in his book, God, Time, and the Incarnation, there are not two persons of Jesus and God the Son, but rather, the one Person of the Son who became Incarnate as Jesus Christ. Another way of spotting this error is to realize that James White is claiming that Jesus the Man became Man, but that God the Son did not become Man. And to paraphrase John Lennox, So it turns out that heresy is heresy.  

* Back from Assignment in China: Real Science Radio host Fred Williams is back from assignment in China and shares with Bob Enyart and the RSR audience his observation that affirms biblical history drawn from exhibits in the Shanghai Museum that cover thousands of years of Chinese history, namely, the enduring presence of dragons! Additionally, ancient Chinese pictographs speak eloquently of the earlier chapters of Genesis!

* Multiplied Things Evolved Multiplied Times: This list is only a stub. It's trendy for evolutionists to find that their theory does not support the evolution of a biological function but multiple independent evolutionary origins for that feature. This reveals the failure of the theory and not a deeper understanding of it as some may hope. When evolutionists have not the least ability to explain the origin of something, such as eyesight, they think they solve their problem by slapping a term on it, "convergent evolution", and claiming that it's so likely to happen that it originated multiple times independently! The high- and "low-tech" biological things that allegedly evolved multiple times.
- flight evolved in birds, insects, bats, and pterosaurs
- appendix evolved more than 30 times such as in beavers, koalas, and porcupines
- vision evolved more than a dozen times with the PAX6 gene even for "simple" clam eyes
- multicellularity evolved more than 40 times [2020 update]
- "hard-shelled eggs evolved at least three times independently in dinosaurs"
- bioluminescence evolved  at least 40 times in fungi, jellyfish, sea slugs, clams, beetles, shrimp, fish, sharks, etc.
- warm-bloodedness evolved at least twice
- central nervous system, CNS, twice
- echolocation evolved, with virtually identical genetic programming, in bats and whales and dolphins
- land to aquatic lifestyle evolved repeatedly to whales, seals, manatees, marine reptiles, desmostylians, and even sloths
- plant scaffolding and water transport evolved repeatedly by almost "identical" lignin in ferny lycophytes and 300M years later in angiosperms
- electroreception of the platypus and field generation of electric "eels", cichilids, and elephant fish
- mollusk brains and, well, why not, mutliple independent origins for neurons and brains generally
- oxygen-providing long-dive enabling myoglobin in platypus, whales, beavers, shrews, etc.
- Jurassic ichthyosaurs and modern whales evolved similar body shape, crypsis, cellular and molecular tissue composition 
- feathers, including for dinos and Archaeopteryx and not even originating for flight

* List of Ways Darwinists Invent their Tree of Life, aka Pop Goes the Weasle – Head and Shoulders, Knees and Toes:

Evolutionists change their selection of what evidence they use to show 'lineage', from DNA to fossils to genes to body plans to teeth to many specific anatomical features to proteins to behavior to developmental similarities to habitat to RNA, etc. and to a combination of such. Darwinism is an entire endeavor based on selection bias, a kind of logical fallacy. By anti-science they arbitrarily select evidence that best matches whichever evolutionary story is currently preferred." -Bob Enyart

If something as wildly sophisticated as vision allegedly evolved multiple times (a dozen or more), then for cryin' out loud, why couldn't something as relatively simple as odd or even-toedness (in ungulates) evolve multiple tiimes? However, whether a genus has an odd or even number of toes, and similar distinctions, form the basis for the 150-year-old Darwinist methodology. Yet its leading proponents still haven't acknowledged that their tree building is arbitrary and invalid. Darwin's tree recently fell anyway, and regardless, it has been known to be even theoretically invalid all these many decades. Consider also bipedalism? In their false paradigm, couldn't that evolve twice? How about vertebrate and non-vertebrates, for that matter, evolving multiple times? Etc., etc., etc. Darwinists determine evolutionary family-tree taxonomic relationships based on numbers of toes, when desired, or on hips (distinguishing, for example, dinosaur orders, until they didn't) or limb bones, or feathers, or genes, or fossil sequence, or neck bone, or..., or..., or... Etc.

* Using the Appendix as a Lens to View Darwin's Tree: The guys then use the lowly appendix as a lens to view Darwin's Tree of Life and end up seeing something really funny.
