Obituary: Mr. Albert "Pops" Sharin passed unexpectedly at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, CO on Feb 13, 2018, at the age of 84.
Albert is survived by his wife, Connie of Arvada, CO; children, Nancy of Long Beach, MS, Marcia of Lansdale, PA, four stepchildren, and all six of their spouses, as well as by 23 grandchildren and their ten spouses, and 28 great-grandchildren! Albert was born on Nov. 19, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA to Nathan and Sarah, both of Kiev, Ukraine. He graduated from Bok Vocational in Philadelphia. He married his high school sweetheart Elaine Rita Hoffman. They resided in Philadelphia. Albert began working for Action Manufacturing Co., as a machinist and later became part owner. The couple’s children remember him as a kind and gentle, patient and driven father who encouraged them to pursue their goals. After the passing of Elaine, Al was blessed to meet and marry, 18 years ago, his new sweetheart Connie Enyart, and with her traveled the U.S. and abroad frequently. Albert was accomplished in management and shared wisdom and guidance with many. He was a man of integrity and was passionate to set an example for others. He was dedicated to God, family, and friends and at Denver Bible Church spent many years serving the Lord including by radio ministry as the KGOV general manager.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb 17th at Denver Bible Church at 4085 Independence Court, Wheat Ridge, CO with a reception to follow. Pastor Bob Enyart will officiate. All are welcome to celebrate Albert's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Colorado Right To Life or Denver Bible Church. Condolences can be sent through Denver Bible Church’s website.
