Why Liberals Hate the Holidays
Liberals often pit themselves against good traditions. Bible teachings present the cure for liberalism. It is good to eat animals, both for people (who get great enjoyment and nutrition) and for the animals (they have the great honor of being eaten by people. :)
Animal rights activists would annihilate sixty million turkeys yearly, turkeys which would never even exist if they didn't end up on dinning room tables. (It is better to live and be eaten then never to have lived at all.)
Extremist environmentalists forget that trees are a renewable resource. For every tree cut down, thousands of seeds can reproduce an unlimited number of new trees, and America has more trees today than 200 years ago.
Leading liberals have prejudice against the social descendants of the Pilgrims. Liberalism tends toward racism against Europeans, sexism against males, and discrimination against Christianity. Some people put down others to elevate themselves or their friends. Liberals often denounce Christian white males in order to elevate their special interests.
Leading liberals blame religion, especially Christianity, for the world's problems, advocating instead atheistic, evolutionary socialism. Liberals thus ignore the murder of tens of millions of people in the recent past by the atheistic, evolutionary socialist Soviet Union and other communist countries.
Liberals prefer kids growing up institutionalized in daycare and government schools than having them raised at home by loving parents. And finally, in their long war against God, liberals suggest that the only good Christian is a bad Christian, that is, one who rejects the exclusive claims of Jesus Christ.

TheologyOnline.com (TOL) hosted a debate on Openness because of the popularity of the issue, and because of the centrality of the matter. The Open View holds that the future is not settled, but open, and therefore unknowable. The Settled View is a convenient name for the divergent theological positions that agree in their opposition to the Open View. Most Christians, regardless of their stand on predestination and free will, believe that the future is exhaustively foreknown and settled, and therefore not open.
TOL has become one of the more popular web sites for discussing the Bible, evangelizing unbelievers, and debating creation, morality, current events, and theology. Founded by elders of Colorado’s Denver Bible Church, over the years, thousands of TOL members have posted millions of questions and comments, and thousands more people read the boards (the forums, discussion threads, and Battle Royales). So, we expect that during the debate and for years to come, a significant audience will read and evaluate Battle Royale X on Openness Theology.

Predestination & Free Will Intro
Predestination or Free Will: So much is at stake when people consider predestination and free will. Strong emotions often surface with a 
discussion of this topic. That passion points to our critical need to understand the truth regarding whether or not God has predetermined who will go to heaven and who will go to hell.
Also, the question of whether or not God has planned out each person’s life affects us. Does God have a plan for your life? Does a blueprint exist for your future? Did God predetermine whether or not you would get married, and to whom? Did God plan whether you would be wealthy or poor, happy or sad? If God does plan your life, does He do so in minute detail or in general themes? If God has a plan for your life, are you able to alter that plan? This topic directly influences people concerning how they live their lives. As Christians, we must seek God to accurately portray the LORD to others. For any misrepresentation of God will dishonor Him and perhaps bring harm to those misled.
