* Team 131: Jim Scofield, Mr. Team 131 himself, is overseeing the data entry of the 131,000 names right-to-lifers collected on the Colorado personhood petition! Colorado RTL may have accomplished a first in the pro-life movement! They created a flexible online data entry system that volunteers can use to help out from their own PCs anywhere in the country! With unborn personhood on the November ballot, Colorado is ground zero in the abortion battle. With your help, CRTL will turn those 131,000 names inked on paper into a usable database to enlarge the statewide pro-life base! PTL!
Jim Scofield is inviting you to spend a few hours, at your convenience, to enter data. Just email Jim at Teamster131@gmail.com. He might ask a question or two to confirm that you really are a pro-lifer (sometimes pro-aborts try to sneak into our projects). Then he will assign you a username and password, and when you log in, you'll get a scanned image of a petition page, and you begin entering the names and addresses from your petition into an online form. The software will help error-check your work. It's that easy. So please email Jim and he'll send you an instruction sheet and get you started! You can put in two hours, or a dozen, this week, or over the next five weeks!
* Two Criminals: Jim wrote: "On a recent program Bob gave an excellent summary of the reasons rebellious men do not go to hell, George Carlin in particular (bad church attendance, insufficient good works, not tithing, etc.). He folded in the episode of the two 'thieves' that accompanied Jesus. He commented that the word 'thieves' was a weak [word to describe these criminals]. I totally agree. My version [of the Bible] says, 'malefactors" a much stronger word. Daniel Webster, 1828, says: Malefactor - One who commits a crime; one guilty of violating the laws, in such a manner as to subject him to public persecution and punishment, particularly to capital punishment; a criminal."
Bob replied: "Jim, thanks for your kind email! I have that same 1828 dictionary and I love it. A more reliable method of establishing the meaning of a Bible word is to look it up in the original Hebrew (for the OT) or Greek (for the NT). While Jesus was on the cross the Romans inflicted the death penalty on the two criminals (not from kleptes a thief, but lestes a hardened criminal). Christ said nothing in their defense. One of those two mocked Christ. In response, the other criminal (whom Jesus would immediately declare righteous, Luke 23:43) said of their punishments, 'we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds' (Luke 23:41)."

And they're running three daily shifts of volunteers (all ARTL officials work without salary), mornings, afternoons, and evenings, seven days a week! We need folks to sort and fold sheets, to iron, and seamstresses (and we've even had two guys sewing so far). Needed: Can you help ARTL sew these sheets? ARTL has the sewing machines and thread. They need volunteers, both experienced and inexperienced (some folks are assemblers who only move the fabric along).
