After two decades of extensive research and publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, soft tissue deniers seem to be the rule rather than the exception among atheists and evolutionists. (Further, as of April 2014, the existence of dinosaur soft tissue, likely the greatest paleobiology discovery ever, remains virtually unknown to the general public as anyone can extrapolate by asking a few dozen people. RSR is working toward educating the public through radio shows, websites, and by presenting the information in easy-to-use formats.)

Soft tissue deniers (and such science doubters) include:

- Smithsonian Dinosaur Expert Brian Switek: 2012: As late at Sept. 27, 2012, Switek wrote, "The supposed dinosaur leftovers may be microfossils created by bacterial biofilms..." 2014: In 2014, this evolutionist left soft tissue off his list of the Top Ten Dinosaur Mysteries. 2016: And as of November 2016, he still demonstrates an astounding lack of interest in the greatest paleontological discovery in history, original dinosaur soft tissue, while writing for either the Smithsonian or over on his paleo blog over at Scientific American (and remember, Bob informally debated SciAm's atheist editor, Michael Shermer).

- Oxford-educated widely-published anti-creation activist Paul Braterman: On March 8, 2014,  wrote, "despite much hype the only surviving material is in the form of a collagen-bone composite.” (Prof. Braterman is a British Eugenie Scott and made his claim even after browsing our rsr.org/dinosaur-soft-tissue, which is the world's most complete catalog of such findings.)

- Anti-creationist YouTube star AronRa: If you click the link, then just search for: No. :)

- RationalWiki: The science deniers over at the atheist, anti-creation RationalWiki.org, as late as May 12, 2015, are still denying the overwhelming hard science that has documented the existence of endogenous, extant dinosaur soft tissue. (Note too their observation that DNA would be undetectable after 100,000 years and so the lack of DNA in dinosaur bones proves the earth is old, yet a leading science journal published powerful evidence for the recovery of DNA from a hadrosaur and a T. rex.) 

- Talk Origins quote from their Age of the Earth article as accessed on March 1, 2012 through Nov. 10, 2016:

"Answers in Genesis claims that paleontologist Mary Schweitzer found 'obvious, fresh-looking blood cells' and traces of blood protein hemoglobin in a Tyrannosaurus rex bone… all these claims are absolutely false." -Talk Origins :)

- Phys.org as late as May 2015 published Bob Yirka's Iceman reveals oldest known example of red blood cells claiming that the oldest red-blood cells ever recovered belong to modern homo sapiens. However the science community is going to have to come to terms with the reality that dinosaur soft tissue is not going away. * Ticked Over Talk: Time and again evolutionists get ticked over our talk on molecular clocks. Real Science Radio hosts Bob Enyart and Fred Williams report on Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson's new molecular clock research conducted over at the Institute for Creation Research. His paper, must reading for all informed creationists, New Genetic-Clock Research Challenges Millions of Years, is refreshing coming, as it is, from a scientist who received his Ph.D. in cell and developmental biology from Harvard University!

* "Noah" Box Office and Profitability: On the dove, the raven, and Russell Crowe, this disgraceful film has lost a lot of money! See below.

* Molecular Clock Criticism of "Darwin's Doubt": This post-show note quotes the relevant part of Bob Enyart's published review of Stephen Meyer's best-selling book Darwin's Doubt. "Meyer explains the failed Darwinist attempt to use sequencing to date divergence, for “the same or similar groups of molecules have generated dramatically different divergence times” (p. 107). He points out admissions from Dobzhansky prote?ge? Francisco Ayala, who says that such evolutionary calculations are 'fraught with danger.' And Berkley’s James Valentine joins others in acknowledging that 'the accuracy of the molecular clock is still problematical, at least for phylum divergences, for the estimates vary by some 800 million years.' Meyer then references a Michael Behe paper regarding DNA-packing histones, reporting that even with a dozen years of experiments in yeast showing that histones can tolerate dramatic deletions, regardless, across phyla histones remain highly conserved (i.e., minimally different). Meyer argues this against the Darwinists, showing their tendency to commit the cherry-picking fallacy, in this case by selectively ignoring data. But he doesn’t mention that IDers are guilty of the same failure, regarding the same evidence no less. The evolutionists assume their own conclusion in that, as Meyer points out, histones 'are never used as molecular clocks ... Because ... the small differences between histones yield an extremely recent divergence' (p. 107; emphasis added). By the way, how recently? He does not say. And neither did Behe offer an estimate for how long he believes plants and animals have existed with this extreme lack of mutation. Behe did point out, though, for example, that 'the green pea differs from that of mammals by only two conservative substitutions in 102' (Behe, 1990, p. 374). Yet intelligent design, Meyer explains, does not rule out common ancestry (p. 339), for, allegedly, a billion years ago a designer could have engineered a split between plants and animals. But Meyer cannot have it both ways. He wields the histone evidence against Darwinists but only by committing an equally circular, selective data fallacy. As with the intelligent design movement generally, Meyer's book fails to acknowledge this extreme lack of mutations as at least apparent evidence against these phyla having lived for hundreds of millions of years."

* NOAH Box Office Revenue vs. Cost: As of Sept. 24, 2014, the film Noah, thank you Lord, appears to have lost a lot of money. DVD sales will undoubtedly be depressed because of this film's mocking of the biblical account, but until those numbers are in, consider these numbers from the film's worldwide box office:

* 2019 Update: Whales are claimed to present the "best" transitional fossil evidence. Well, check this out: rsr.org/whales. 

* 2018 Update from Genetics: As reported in phys.org and from Rutgers, the University of Basel, and the journal Human Evolution: Far from special: Humanity's tiny DNA differences are 'average' in animal kingdom! "Genetically, 'the world is not a blurry place.' It is hard to find 'intermediates' -- the evolutionary stepping stones between species. ... The research is a new way to show that species are 'islands in sequence space.' Each species has its own narrow, very specific consensus sequence..." Of course the "far from special" is a safe-space chant of evolutionists but in this case, it backfires, because what is not unique among biological kinds is that we were all specially created in the recent past, as young-earth creationists have always maintained.

* The Essentially Complete Fossil Record: As our friend Walter ReMine points out, when paleontologists dig up a new fossil, or a thousand of them, they typically fit nicely into the existing and very well established framework of kinds of organisms (phylum, class, order, family, etc). Because this has been the rule for decades now, during which time millions of fossils have been dug up, this is powerful evidence that mankind possesses an essentially complete fossil record.

* Darwinists Aren’t Looking So Hard Anymore: Because the fossil record is essentially complete, evolutionists are not looking so hard anymore for all those breakthrough transitional “missing links” that had once been the great hope of the Darwinist. Researchers have catalogued the great extent of the length and breadth and depth of the entire fossil domain. (One of our confirmed creation science predictions was that Antarctica’s sealed-off Lake Vostok would not reveal 15 million years worth of evolution.)  When we’re searching for fossils, we’re not looking into infinity. There are only so many kinds of organisms that have lived on earth, and so, there is a finite number of fossils that are discoverable. However, let a Darwinist's imagination loose, and there’s a virtually infinite number make-believe creatures that he can invent.

* Single-Celled But No Two-Celled Life? From Walt Brown, "No fully developed form of life has 2, 3, 4, or 5 cells.^a Forms of life with 6–20 cells are parasites, so they must have a complex animal as a host to provide such functions as respiration and digestion. If macro-evolution happened, one should find many fully developed forms of animal life with 2–20 cells—filling the gap between one-celled and many-celled organisms." more

* Brachiopoda Missing from the Presidential Address: On March 5, 1976, Derek V. Ager delivered the British Geologists' Association Presidential Address, published as The nature of the fossil record in the Proceedings of the Geologists' Association, Vol. 82(2). This avowed evolutionist nonetheless lamented
- the missing transitional fossils for Brachiopoda
- so much evolutionary evidence later "debunked"
and then
- declared himself an independent discoverer of Gould's puntuated equilibrium and again
- classified himself as a "neocatastrophist" who saw the fossil record as "like the life of a soldier [which] consists of long periods of boredom and short periods of terror".

Ager stated, "It must be significant that nearly all the evolutionary stories I learned as a student, from Trueman's Ostrea/Gryphaea to Carruthers' Zaphrentis delanouei, have now been 'debunked'. [For one example, see flat and coiled oysters.] Similarly, my own experience of more than twenty years looking for evolutionary lineages among the Mesozoic Brachiopoda has proved them equally elusive."

* Shocking Eels and Atheist Heels: While paging through the ever-fabulous Creation magazine, Bob Enyart and Fred Williams discuss the unsolvable dilemma Darwinism has in trying to evolve electric eels. And then the guys turn to the article, What about bad things done by the Church? Jonathan Sarfati hits back at atheists, hard, with solid rebuttals to their attempt to portray Christianity as bad for the human race. Caution though. If you're a big-time Sarfati fan, like we are, watch out, because the guys think they've found two errors that Jonathan made, regarding criminal justice, in an otherwise tremendous article.

* Eyewitnesses Not Necessary for Conviction & Execution: Some Christians have been taught that the Bible requires two or three eyewitnesses who testify that they saw a murder being committed in order for a convicted criminal to be executed justly. The Bible does not teach this however. God even describes a capitol case where there were not two or three eyewitnesses, yet He commanded the death penalty upon the conviction of the criminal (Deut. 22:25-27). The confusion comes in because the term "witness" is confused for "eyewitness". Our western mindset causes us to read text hyper-literally, as though we were lawyers, whereas the eastern mindset of Scripture expects more of the reader. The Bible emphasizes the need for multiple "witnesses", so while the criminal court is making careful inquiry (Deut. 19:18) into the specifics of the crime, the crime scene, motive, circumstances, the fingerprint of the accused in the victim's blood, etc., the court is to decide what evidence rises to the weight of a "witness" to the crime. Testimony does not only come from eyewitnesses (which is part of what the "Ark of the Testimony" was all about, with the physical evidence within it including a quart of manna and Aaron's walking stick that blossomed.)

* Multiple Witnesses Required for Any Criminal Proceeding: The requirement for "two or three witnesses" is not just for executing criminals, as it is often presented, but the Biblical standard of multiple "witnesses" applies to any court's hearing of any charge against the accussed, and certainly therefore, it is a requirement for rendering a guilty verdict for any kind of a crime, capital or otherwise. "One witness shall not rise against a man concerning any iniquity or any sin that he commits; by the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter [any conviction] shall be established" (Deuteronomy 19:15). So this requirement of multiple witnesses, whether physical evidence, circumstantial evidence, or eyewitnesses, applies across the board, even regarding the hearing of an accusation against an elder in the church (1 Timothy 5:19). Of course, otherwise, someone with a vendetta could cause great harm by simply making an unfounded accusation. Whereas criminals, and especially murderers, typically do not commit their crimes before eyewitnesses.

* Biblical Command for a One Eyewitness Execution: Oftentimes, eyewitnesses have been unreliable whereas forensic evidence has provided far greater certainty. (See rsr.org/forensics for a reconsideration of the creationist argument regarding "historical" and "obsevational" science.) In the illustration provided in Deuteronomy, while physical evidence could testify as additional witnesses, the only eyewitness available was the victim, and yet God specifically commands the death penalty for the culprit upon conviction:

"But if a man finds a betrothed young woman in the countryside, and the man forces her and lies with her [rape], then only the man who lay with her shall die [execution]. But you shall do nothing to the young woman; there is in the young woman no sin deserving of death [presumption of innocence], for just as when a man rises against his neighbor and kills him, even so is this matter. For he found her in the countryside, and the betrothed young woman cried out, but there was no one to save her." Deut. 22:25-27

In ancient cities, economics and security concerns led to extremely close quarters. A woman attacked in the city would be expected to cry out for help. For the sin of fornication committed by an unmarried couple, the strong recommendation in the Bible was that they get married. However, if it were learned that a married woman had been with another man, to escape prosecution there was the possibility that she might claim to have been raped. This suggests that if she were being assaulted, her neighbors may hear her cry out. (The Bible rejects the victim mentality promoted by our culture and even in such a horrific instance teaches women to resist an aggressor). One way that this crime scenario could have unfolded is that the accused may claim, "I have never seen this woman in my life." And he may deny ever having been out in the field where she was assaulted. But the judges inspecting the crime scene may notice a torn strand of fabric that matches a tear in his garment. And the woman may describe a scratch that she put on his shoulder. That fabric becomes a witness. The scratch is a witness. And the woman is an eyewitness. Thus, by the testimony of two or three witnesses the matter is established and the accused is convicted and executed.

* Another Code Revealed Withiin DNA Code: Real Science Radio hosts Bob Enyart and Fred Williams enjoy the latest science news from Creation magazine. They celebrate God's brilliance demonstrated by His embedding into DNA yet another newly discovered code (you'll love the "vowels" analogy)!

* An Oil Field That's About 14,000 or 370 Million Years Old: And the guys chuckle about secular dating of an oil field based on the age of fossils which range, allegedly, from only thousands of years to 370 million years!

* Another Astounding RSR Prediction Confirmed: Bob and Fred's latest creation prediction has been confirmed by the March 2014 issue of the Journal of Paleontology! So, falsifying Bill Nye's claim that Christians cannot make science predictions bsaed on the book of Genesis, once again, an astoundingly specific and counter-intuitive RSR prediction has been confirmed by a peer-reviewed paper. On February 21, 2014 the RSR hosts made this written and broadcast prediction: Original dinosaur soft tissue, etc., will be found largely independent of the claimed age of the fossil. This was confirmed in March 2014! See the upcoming RSR update on this paper in the Journal of Paleontology that has confirmed original soft tissue in a fossil allegedly 530 million years old!

* Dick Lamm's buddy accepted Bob Enyart's challenge. "Duty-to-die" Dick, a former Colorado Governor (and life-long advocate of suicide, euthanasia, and dismembering unborn children) moderated a panel on "assisted suicide" (i.e., medical homicide) at the University of Denver on Thursday evening. One of the four panelists, Bob Enyart, offered $10,000 dollars to Dick Lamm's favorite charity if there were no instances of recovery among patients declared "brain dead". Asking the governor if he would give $10,000 if such recoveries have occurred, Dick Lamm said absolutely not! Later, when challenged, another panelist, "Hemlock Society" board member Charles Hamlin, said that he would donate that $10,000 to our favorite charity if Enyart were correct. Victory!
