Update:

3,000,000? Scratch that. 5 million!
Ha! Fun.

We guarantee that you'll love the RSR analysis! (Or your money back :)

* Coming this Friday: We were honored to have Ken Ham on our program yesterday during the countdown to the big debate, what some have called Scopes II, after the famed Scopes Monkey Trial. So tune in to Real Science Radio on Friday for when Bob and Fred analyze the debate for what we hope will be some fascinating observations. We'll critique both sides.

* RSR Bill Nye Debate Analysis Preview: Bill Nye gets discredited for claiming as evidence various outdated arguments that even evolutionists have falsified, and for being rather unfamiliar with major aspects of his opponents position. Also, since Nye kept asking whether or not creationism makes predictions, the guys would like to point out that we've long had such a list on our website, at rsr.org/predictions, and we're excited that our published rsr.org/schedule shows that we've planned to air a full program on our predictions this very month of February! So now, we're really looking forward to that! :)

* RSR Ken Ham Debate Analysis Preview: Ken scores highly, including for keeping the debate in it's greater perspective and for using more current and more bullet-proof evidence. He lost points, however, for wasting ten precious minutes needlessly emphasizing the distinction between observational and historical science. Ken gave the origin of the term science, from the Latin scientia, meaning knowledge, which by our usage refers to carefully acquired knowledge of the cosmos and everything in it. Of course there is a difference between observational and historical science, but its not the big fundamental issue that so many creationists make of it. With their argument, creationists are unwittingly conceding to the materialist claim that you can only know that which your five senses tell you. No one has to see the builder to know that their home had a builder. What's worse for Ken's point: meeting the builder and even watching him build a house does not give you any more certainty that the house had a builder than those who had never seen him. Visual observation does not trump reason, math, logic, and the mind the way that Ken Ham's emphasis implies.
