* Iowa's 2013 Murder Legislation Define's Person: Rep. Shaw's draft bill, The Iowa Equal Protection of Innocent Life Act:
707 Murder defined. 1. A person who kills another person with malice aforethought either express or implied commits murder. 2. “Person”, when referring to the victim of a murder, means an individual human being, without regard to age of development, from the moment of conception, when a zygote is formed, until natural death. ...
* Flashback to 2011 with Rep. Shaw on BEL: Representative Shaw wrote that the, "SUPPOSEDLY 'PRO-LIFE' 'FETAL PAIN' BILL IS WORSE THAN ROE V. WADE" and that the Nat'l RTL fetal pain bill authors "admit in the language of the bill" that the fetus' life begins at fertilization, and "yet they allow this person to be killed."
