Earthquake lights, a cooling earth, lethal drugs, & Trump's 60 Seconds

* News Headlines Dished Up BEL Style: The BEL host explains what caused New Zealand's earthquake lights this past weekend during their magnitude 7.8 trembler (rsr.org/eql), celebrates the earth's latest eight months of precipitous cooling (rsr.org/warming), affirms the three states that voted in support of executing the guilty (see kgov.com/death), and condemned Donald Trump for his absurd and immoral abortion comments on 60 Minutes (see prolifeprofiles.com/trump).

* Donald Trump's Abortion Barbarity on 60 Minutes: In his first interview since winning the election, Trump gave CBS' Leslie Stahl immoral responses to her questions about child killing. When asked about his upcoming Supreme Court nominations, and if they'll overturn Roe v. Wade, the president elect said his nominees will be pro-life, and then he tried to immediately change the subject, but realized he had to bring it back:

Donald Trump: They’ll be pro-life, they’ll be-- in terms of the whole gun situation, we know the Second Amendment and everybody’s talking about the Second Amendment... But having to do with abortion if it ever were overturned, it would go back to the states. So it would go back to the states and--

That immoral position is just as immoral as Roe v. Wade itself. Just like the federal government has no authority to decriminalize child killing, neither do the states. (If you are confused on this simple matter of fundamental morality and governance, we urge you to see AmericanRTL.org/so-called-states-rights.) States have the obligation to prosecute murder but they have not authority to decriminalize murder. To Trump's statement, Stahl asked, as though this weren't something to celebrate, "but then, some women won’t be able to get an abortion?"

Donald Trump: No, it’ll go back to the states. ... well, they’ll perhaps have to go, they’ll have to go to another state."

Then Stahl asked: "And that’s OK?"

Even though he no longer has the "excuse" that he's trying to get elected, Trump still responds in amoral ways to the topic of child killing (of all things), which should surprise no one since he is from a family of child killers.

Donald Trump: Well, we’ll see what happens. It’s got a long way to go, just so you understand. That has a long, long way to go.

And that was it. He was speaking to the nation. No reminder that abortion kills an innocent child. No word on the horror of dismembering the unborn. Just political posturing, the kind that will be brought up again, on Judgment Day.

* Explanation of New Zealand's Earthquake Lights: Earthquakes produce piezoelectric lightning flashes in the ground and also, coming out of the ground. (See rsr.org/radioactivity.) Embedded below, this video of earthquake lights surfaced with the reports of New Zealand's magnitude 7.8 quake epicentered between Christchurch and Wellington. (The lights are visible in this video at 0:20 at the top left partly beneath the camera's timestamp.)

* Satellite Over Land Temperature Data Shows Record Cooling
: The year 2016 shows record global cooling over land according to Remote Sensing Systems. Unlike the missing hockey stick data, the satellite data behind this stunning chart is real and comes from state-of-the-art technology:
