Flogging Heeney Parents Sooner or Later
The Balloon Parents: should be flogged, and made to pay restitution to government agencies, airlines delayed, the winter wheat farmer whose crop was ruined by emergency vehicles, and others who can show damages. With every Christian and secular talk show in the country discussing the Heeney Hoax, sadly, it seems that only Bob Enyart and Steve Curtis quote from God's Word and bring biblical principles to bear on what the punishment should be. And by the way, flogging (the great equalizer) and restitution would not only honor God and appropriately punish the parents, it would bring a sense of justice rendered to the nation, and according to the Bible, when the public sees justice implemented, they are more inclined to believe in the God of Justice. But in America, as Bob Enyart says, it's no longer a justice system; now it's just a system.
