Spokespigs Abound

$37,325 of $40,000 Telethon Goal: Thank you from Bob Enyart!  Our 2009 KGOV Telethon raised $37,325 in vitally needed funds to keep BEL reaching out over the Internet for another year! Thank you all so very much! And what's more, two businessmen who enjoy BEL (one owns a farm and the other a high tech engineering firm) each said they would be sending a donation in for the telethon and so there's a real possibility that we'll meet or exceed our goal! Thank you Lord!

* FINAL SEPTEMBER TELETHON UPDATE from Oct. 8th: WE BEAT OUR GOAL! Our annual KGOV Telethon raised $40,500 of our $40,000 goal. We exceeded our goal because of you all and with the residual donations and purchases and subscriptions coming in that are still being designated for the telethon. * Child Sex Advocate Obama Czarina: Kevin Jennings, Obama's sham "safe schools" Czarina has made a career of using the word 'safe' to push homosexuality onto public school students. WorldNetDaily began exposing Ms. Jennings in May. Now, the story has exploded that as a teacher Jennings "was told by a 15-year-old high school sophomore that he was having homosexual sex with an 'older man.' At the very least, statutory rape occurred. Fox News reported that the teacher violated a state law requiring that he report the abuse. That former teacher, Kevin Jennings, is President Obama's 'safe school czar.' And to this the Washington Times adds, "In this one case in which Mr. Jennings had a real chance to protect a young boy from a sexual predator, he not only failed to do what the law required but actually encouraged the relationship." Obama spokespig Jennings today says he was only a 24-year old teacher in 1988 and today would have handled things differently. Right. Yet he bragged about this story in a 1994 book he wrote and has repeatedly told it at education conferences. The spokespig just 'regrets' being exposed.

* Whoopi Disgusts Bob and Doug McBurney: the Toys R Us spokespig Whoopi Goldberg sought to minimize the crime of child rape by saying about confessed and now jailed Roman Polanski, that his sex with a 13-year-old girl "wasn't rape rape." In truth, Toys R Us spokespig Goldberg is not a woman woman.

* Bob, Doug and a Florida Sheriff Lament: that they could not execute John Couey who died of the number-one cause of death of convicted murderers: natural causes. Tragically (Ezek. 13:19), old age is the number one cause of death for those on death row.

* Contractors Offers BEL $100 for Each Person: who called in to today's program and said where they were when they saw the world's largest protest sign! Thank you to Russell, Cynthia, Dave, Jennie, John from Nebraska (who saw the sign that day when he was in Seattle via the web), Steve, Jamie, Vick, David, Jim, Cynthia, and Kristi.
