Obama BANS Embryo Research by Accident

* Obama bans embryo research just after funding it: First, Barack Obama spends almost a trillion dollars on a pork-stimulus package and then talks about cutting the deficit in half by 2012 and then introduces a mammoth $3.6 trillion dollar budget. Is he crazy, or is he just a lunatic? Now, just days after authorizing funding of embryonic research, President Barack Obama "signed a law that explicitly bans federal funding of any 'research in which a human embryo or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death.' The provision was buried in the 465-page omnibus appropriations bill that Obama signed." The next thing we'll hear is that Obama exercises daily AND smokes.

* South Carolina Senator Lee Bright: Sen. Bright talks to Bob Enyart about S.450, the SC Personhood bill he sponsored, which states, "The right to life for each born and preborn human being vests at fertilization" and "The rights guaranteed by Article I, Section 3 of the Constitution of this State, that no person shall be deprived of life without due process of law, nor shall any person be denied the equal protection of the laws, vest at fertilization for each born and preborn human person." Bob discusses with Sen. Bright the problems with abortion regulations that end with, "and then you can kill the baby." Sen. Bright agreed to receive an American RTL DVD Focus on the Strategy.
