Theology Thursday: Atheists Overplaying their Hand

Losing Credibility: For years atheists have been making claims that their supposedly clever arguments refute the truth of God and the Bible, even claiming that there is no such thing as truth. On today's Theology Thursday, Pastor Bob Enyart explains how they've been overplaying their hands and how many of those arguments will come back to bite them.

Theology Thursday: Jesus Was Sent to Israel

Israel and the Body of Christ: On today's Theology Thursday, Bob shows from Christ's own words that He send sent to mininster to Israel and not the gentiles. To get a great overview of the Bible that will help you understand the difference between Christ's message to Israel during His three year earthly ministry and the message He later gave the Apostle Paul for the Gentiles, consider ordering "The Plot" by Bob Enyart.

God and the Death Penalty: The New Testament Support for Capital Punishment is now on Youtube. This presentation demonstrates that God not only commanded the death penalty, but that the Bible continues to support the death penalty through the New Testament and that the death penalty is at the heart of the gospel. If you've ever been confused about this subject or had difficulty explaining to others why the death penalty is proper, then this is the definitive resource to clear u that confusion and help you make the case from the Bible.

Please share with all of your friends and encourage them to share.

Today's Resource: The Plot

The Bible Gets Easier to Understand:

Apparent contradictions plague many Bible students. The Plot demonstrates how hundreds of such contradictions disappear when the reader applies the big picture of the Bible to its details. Tunnel vision focuses so narrowly on a problem that the solution often lies just out of view. As the pastor of Denver Bible Church, Bob Enyart teaches Christians how to use the whole counsel of God to understand the plot of the Bible and solve biblical mysteries.

Theology Thursday: Things that Differ

The Difference: On today's Theology Thursday, BoB explains how many things are different for the Body of Christ than they were for Israel.

Theology Thursday: Qualifications of Elders Pt. 4

* Homosexual Marriage Update: DBC Announcement: Dear loved ones, with the horrific supreme court ruling attempting to force homosexual marriage on the entire country (the way they forced child killing on the country with Roe v. Wade), we will have an emergency showing on Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. at Denver Bible Church of Ray Comfort's film Audacity. Part documentary, part movie, Audacity will teach millions what the Bible actually says about homosexuality. And for the worship service, which begins at 10:50 a.m., the sermon of course, and tragically, will be on how to protect our families from the wickedness flooding our land. And if you can, please publish this notice on your social media.

Grieving, yes, but with ultimate victory in Jesus Christ!

We Just Want To Be Left Alone: Right. "In the public square, Christianity and homosexuality are mutually exclusive. One or the other will be in the closet", said Bob Enyart. A homosexual replies: "No really, we just want to be left alone. Oh yeah, and you better bake us a cake. Or else. Or a pizza pie. And cookies. And send us flowers. And you better give me a haircut while I'm waiting. And take some photos. Or else. And forget your heterosexual student clubs and dating services, and as for your teachings on morality, we've decided to ban them. Oh yeah, and did we tell you? You're going to print us some t-shirts and then host our wedding! Yup. Even on your church property. And we want a parade, and you're going to provide security too." See more. Unfortunately.

"My prediction was wrong that John Roberts would rule for homosexual marriage. We're thankful that he did not but of course grieved by the accelerating moral freefall of our nation. Please pray for our children, our families, and churches, and the lost." -Bob Enyart (and see kgov.com/homosexuality)

Godly Leaders: Bob presents the conclusion of a four-part series on the biblical qualifications for church leadership.

Unrelated: One more "like" will bring Real Science Radio's Facebook page to 750. It's a small milestone, but it's one you might be able to help us with!

Resource: 1 Timothy Bible Study

Find out why Paul writes to his beloved disciple Timothy about violent crime and gross sexual immorality. And glean fascinating truths from God?s qualifications for pastors and elders. For example, what does the Bible teach concerning the drinking of wine? Is it ok for a Christian to have beer and pizza (with pepperoni no less?) And what does the Bible really say about elders and pastors drinking alcohol? Also, learn why God prohibited a church from providing welfare support for a widow under sixty years of age.

Theology Thursday: Qualifications of Elders Pt. 3

On Tony Campolo: From kgov.com/the-year-the-church-goes-gay, "It was that woman You gave me." Campolo says he reversed his position on homosexuality after his wife introduced him to nice gay couples. So as BEL listener Tom from Texas pointed out, "At least he has an excuse."

Theology Thursday: Qualifications of Elders Pt. 1

Rick Perry a BEL Fan: Preceding his speech, Rick Perry first released a video online early Thursday morning, telling voters "we have the power to make our country new again." "We need a president who bridges the partisan divide rather than widen -- who brings people together. We must do right and risk the consequences."

Theology Thursday: How God Works Today

Rightly Dividing: Bob explains how God works differently with His people today than He did in the Bible.

Today's ResourceNicer than God

Enjoy this fast-paced critique of religion where Bob Enyart presents questions such as: When should a Christian lie? Should he ever mock? How about name-calling? Does sarcasm belong in the Christian’s repertoire? How about ridicule? Learn why nice is not in the Bible and how to identify a Nicer-Than-God Christian. If Christians are not supposed to judge, then why does Jesus command us to judge rightly? And if only God will judge, then why does Paul say that we believers will judge the angels, and judge the world? If Jesus logged onto a website forum under a pseudonym, would we recognize Him, or condemn Him? This album communicates well Bob Enyart’s unique style. But, warning, warning, warning, Will Robertson, it is not for the faint of heart.

Theology Thursday: Church Splits

Leaving a Church: Bob explains some of the reasons why churches split and shows that many times, it's a good thing.
