Recent History: Initially, we were going to run the first ad in both the Denver Post and the Rocky Mtn News.  But, after their vice president of advertising read the pro-life content of the ad, he *raised* the rate from $85 to $227 per inch!  (Yes, that's legal for him to do, after all, it is their paper.)  So, since the ad was an open letter to the president, we called the Washington Times in D.C.  In contrast to the News/Post, the Times was very supportive, and 4,000 copies of their paper go to Capitol Hill and the Pentagon each day, with another 100,000 general subscriptions in the D.C. area.  As we run these ads in different papers, we're tagging them with: "Sponsored by DenverBibleChurch.org."   We look for opportunities to bring biblical influence to our nation.  So, again, if you'd like to help pay for these ads, please call in a donation to 800-836-9278; or send a check to BEL, PO Box 583 Arvada CO 80001; or donate online.   Thanks again, -Bob E.

p.s.s.  You might want to run one of these ads in your own city's newspaper, sponsored by you or the name of your own church/group/company.  Consider using these higher quality PDF files of either the ad against Palestinian terrorism, or the ad congratulating President Bush and urging him to fight against abortion.
