BEL Reporter: California Fires Not Judgment

* Santa Clarita's Randy Hayes reports: on the fire that came up to the cul-de-sac off his front yard, and agreed that such fires are not divine judgments, nor signs of the end times, nor any superstitious portent, but the real risk factors include high winds and low humidity. But Enyart and Hayes did agree that ultimately, Al Gore is to blame for the fires, being a liar, and doing all he can with his travel and mansion to pump carbon dioxide into the air to heat up global warming.

* Three Callers
: Gordon from Littleton described his first ever abortion protest on Sunday at the home of a Weitz Corporation executive as peaceful, prayerful, encouraging, and a wonderful contrast to typical ugly liberal protests. Calvin from Aurora made a point from the prophet Jeremiah that we should glory in knowing God. And a different Randy, from Denver, went to the local Planned Parenthood for a protest and was saddened (but apparently motivated nonetheless) by the small number of people there!

* Evolutionists Think Chimps Out-Evolved Humans: the Discovery Channel reports that some evolutionists think that chimps are more evolved than humans! (These dupes dont HAVE evidence, they ARE the best evidence of lame-brained humans being less evolved than monkeys.)

* Christianity and the Colorado Rockies: reports over the last year including in USA Today indicate that the Colorado Rockies put Christianity at the center of their game! "Behind the scenes, they quietly have become an organization guided by Christianity... embracing a Christian-based code of conduct they believe will bring them focus and success... [T]eam CEO Charlie Monfort... said the team has deliberately tried to acquire players with character and integrity... We started to go after character six or seven years ago... I don't want to offend anyone, but I think character-wise we're stronger than anyone in baseball. Christians, and what they've endured, are some of the strongest people in baseball."

* Post-show Note: Comment about yesterday's radio show by Jeremiah from the BEL Forum at TOL: "That was a very inspiring show. A lot of people are showing a lot of courage and fortitude, as Colorado is becoming a ‘blizzard' of activity... may the billion dollar Weitz Corporation, repent, and be humbled and redeemed, by a single silver dollar. Amen!"
